Dr. Craig Mackenzie

Dr Craig Mackenzie is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Edinburgh Business School, where he focuses on natural capital and climate finance. He is a non-executive director of Evenload Landscape Recovery Ltd, a farmer-owned project in the Cotswolds. Craig is also an advisor to the Woodland Carbon Code and DEFRA’s Woodland Carbon Purchase Fund. As an academic, he founded the Centre for Business and Climate Change (now BCCaS) at the University of Edinburgh and helped launch carbon management and climate finance MSc programs. He has a PhD in behavioural finance and has published on nature finance, corporate governance and climate topics.
