Information on the Public Appointments Process - Statement

Each of Scotland's public bodies, including the Commission, operates under the leadership of a board and a chair. The recruitment for these roles is conducted by the Scottish Government in accordance with statute.

The public appointments process for a new chair for the Scottish Land Commission, alongside two new Commissioners, commenced in September. The selection process remains ongoing.
